This was actually announced over a month ago, but it completely slipped under our radar. Sports Interactive, known for Football Manager, is releasing a soccer MMOPG in early 2008. Titled Football Manager Live. Based on early descriptions, the game will use real life players from their own database, but be populated entirely by fictional clubs. Each universe will consist of about 1000 clubs, and it seems likely that league and tournament play will be user-generated. Oliver Collyer, one of the co-creators of the Championship Manager/Football Manager series, created this title.
